Digital Lunch & Learn

Introduction to Design Sprints

Overview

What is this about?

Moving a project from the start to the finish line can be though. Attention is often split into multiple projects and meetings often end in open-ended and unstructured discussions. The result: Teams often spend months of valuable time, before actually knowing what will work.

One solution to this is the Design Sprint. A solid framework for teams to create, test, and validate solutions in just four days. It replaces all open, useless discussions with a clear process to get straight from idea to insights.

In this Digital Lunch & Learn we will answer these questions:

  • Where does the Design Sprint come from?
  • What are the fundamental ideas behind it?
  • What happens each day in the sprint?
  • How can you use the Design Sprint to skip useless discussions?
  • Bonus: How can you run Sprints in a digital environment?

You should not miss this opportunity. I had the pleasure of attending the Design Sprint introductory workshop and was amazed by the friendliness and energy of the guys from Crisp Studio. I came out with a head full of things to try, and many methods are now part of my daily toolbox."

Questions & Answers

What is Lunch & Learn?

Lunch & Learn is an event series, where we teach a group of people something new over lunch. The group is often small (10-20 people) and comes together in a relaxed setting, where everyone is invited to bring their own food and drinks.

What will happen after I request a time slot?

Once you requested a slot, we will double check if the time will work and then come back to you with the next steps. Our goal is to assist you in the process of organising the Lunch & Learn and we can also send text blocks and images for an invitation.
